Kristina Wood

Kristina Wood holds an M.Res. in Anthrozoology from Hartpury University and is a terrestrial ecologist responsible for supporting several long-term ecology projects in the UK and Europe, including the management of a Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI) on behalf of Eton College. She specialises in bat ecology and conservation, undertaking surveys of varying types and complexities to assist people with obtaining planning permission whilst safeguarding bats and their roosts. Kristina is on the committee of the Hampshire Bat Group, is editor of their newsletter and manages their North Hampshire Bat Box Project. Other than bats, Kristina’s work involves undertaking ecological surveys, producing impact assessments, designing Method Statements for Protected Species, and the planning, coordination and facilitation of live and online workshops and events. Kristina is also able to advise on the requirements for Biodiversity Net Gain projects.
